Master Republican Plan or Major Media Goof?

I mentioned here last night that I thought the constant attacks on Sarah Palin and her daughter by the media would hurt the media and help the Republican ticket. Sarah Palin came off as clever, confident, and charasmatic. But more importantly she came off as one of US. She came off as an everyday person with a blue collar husband and a family that has its share of issues. Today polls are showing that the media's attack on her and her family are doing what I predicted - helping the Republican ticket.
